TITLE(s): APPEALS REVIEWER, VETERAN (government ser.)

Adjudicates military service veterans' claims for allowances: Conducts hearings and determines validity of claim in accordance with federal and state laws and precedents. Renders decision and writes opinion on questions appealed. Prepares interpretations and advisory opinions on points of law requested by state or federal agencies engaged in administration of veterans' programs. Conducts studies of appeals procedures in field agencies to ensure adherence to legal requirements and facilitate determination of cases.
