pay-telephone calls, and requests coin deposits for calls. May give information regarding
subscribers' telephone numbers [DIRECTORY-ASSISTANCE OPERATOR (tel. & tel.)]. Calculates and quotes
charges on long-distance calls. May make long-distance connections and be designated Long-Distance
Operator (tel. & tel.).
