TITLE(s): SUPERVISOR, CUSTOMER SERVICES (motor trans.)
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in servicing and promoting shipper
accounts for parcel-delivery firm: Reviews records indicating shipper parcel volume, claims for
damaged and lost parcels, and deficiencies in parcel preparation for pickup and delivery. Discusses
service to shippers with assigned representatives to develop plans of service. Meets with, or
directs representatives to meet with, shippers to resolve problems in wrapping and handling of
parcels and relationships between firm's employees and shippers. Assigns representatives to solicit
prospective accounts. Evaluates performance and productivity of workers and reports to management.
Performs other duties as described under SUPERVISOR (clerical) Master Title.
