Turns handwheels to adjust roller pressure so that resultant nibs are of specified size. Moves handles to adjust air supply to blower to ensure thorough separation of shells from nibs. Observes thermometer and turns cold water valve to cool conveyor carrying beans from roaster to cracking fanning machine.
