Tends settling tanks that separate gluten from water: Turns valves to discharge gluten and water from starch tables into tank. Turns and adjusts inlet and outlet valves to maintain constant level in tank until water has drained from settled grain. Starts pump that transfers gluten to plate press. Pushes remaining gluten from tank, using squeegee, and cleans tank, using hose.
