TITLE(s): SUPERVISOR, STEEL DIVISION (furniture)

Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in spinning and assembling wire coils to form mattress innersprings and bedspring units. Directs production workers and machine maintenance personnel in setting up and adjusting equipment, such as coiling, crimping, and wire-border forming machines. Performs other duties as described under SUPERVISOR (any industry) Master Title. May set up machines. May be designated by department as Coil-Machine Supervisor (furniture); Spring-Assembler Supervisor (furniture).
