CODE: 89707 TITLE: Electronic Pagination System Operators DEFINITION: Using a computer screen, call up type and art elements from computer memory and position them into a completed page, using knowledge of type styles and size and composition patterns. The composited page is then transmitted for production into film or directly into plates. TASKS: 1. Views monitors for visual representation of work in progress and for instructions and feedback throughout process. 2. Activates options, such as masking or text processing. 3. Enters data, such as background color, shapes, and coordinates of images; and retrieves data from system memory. 4.
